Fife Cottage

The house in the centre of the photo below is our Fife cottage which is available for self-catering, holiday rentals. It is too far from Glasgow for us to manage personally, so we have given it to an agent who organises keys, cleaning and changeovers. If you e-mail us at we can let you know when it is available, answer questions, and put you in touch with the letting agent.

Cellardyke Cottage is in the center with the red door

The cottage is in the former fishing village of Cellardyke, on Scotland's east coast near St. Andrews. The house sits above the historic harbour and looks over over the Firth of Forth to the lighthouse on the Isle of May. There are sea views from all rooms and a small sandy beach nearby. The Fife Coastal Path passes along the harbour quay and links other nearby villages.

The East Neuk Outdoors centre (5 minutes walk from the house)offers canoeing, abseiling, biking and archery. Across the road, The Haven pub and restaurant provides a selection of delicious fayre. Anstruther shops, restaurants, boat trips (in season) to May Isle and the famous Fish Bar are a short walk away.
